How to integrate Kustomer to MaestroQA

Integrating Kustomer to Maestro is easy, but here are a couple of conditions to keep in mind:

  • You must be an Admin User in Maestro to perform the integration steps

  • The Admin User in Kustomer that generates the API Token must remain an active Admin User in Kustomer for the integration to remain active.

For this reason, we suggest using a Service Account in Kustomer to generate an API Token specific to the Maestro integration. Because Service Accounts are not tied to employees, they run less risk of being deactivated and, thus, disconnecting the Maestro<>Kustomer integration.

Navigate to Maestro Integratons Page

From your name in upper right corner, navigate to Integrations > then select the Kustomer tile

Enter Your Kustomer Subdomain and API Token

You will be required to enter the following:

  • Kustomer subdomain

    • Your subdomain is the beginning of the URL you use to log in to Kustomer. This URL looks something like {subdomain}.kustomerapp.com

  • API Token

    • You can follow the steps in this Kustomer Help Article to generate your API Token

    • Maestro requires the following Roles are enabled on the Token (we only read information from Kustomer, so do not need any write or update Roles).

      • org.user

      • org.admin

      • org.admin.user

      • org.admin.content

      • org.tracking

Data Sync Cadence

Initial data sync can take up to 4 hours after the integration steps are completed. You should then begin to see your Agent Profiles and Ticket information show up in Maestro.

Ongoing data sync can take anywhere between 1 - 4 hours depending on overall ticket volume and amount of changes.
